The tighter tie, and the one with the history. England and Argentina meet at a World Cup for the first time since 2002, reviving memories of 1986 and 1998 — and this time it is Harry Kane against Lionel Messi. England (~2.55–2.65) are narrow favourites over Argentina (~3.00–3.05) with the draw at ~2.90–3.00, the closest line of the two semis. France and Spain — the market’s top two on most boards — are drawn to knock each other out today, so at least one of the two shortest prices on the outright board will be gone by tonight.
